As most of us know the Soviet union ceased to exist in 1991, fairly peacefully. What if, however the reds felt like invading us capitalist pigs and starting ww3? I wanted to know if anyone would like to see a ww3 version of this game with all the features and cool stuff.

It's from 1950-1991 maybe 2000 depends on the scenario. The official end of the cold war. There's no point ending the time scale when it's not finished.
Well, if it's a new game you could have different maps.

Wouldn't it have less to research? from 1950+ there'd be tonnes of weaponry to research and build, numerous cold war tensions like the cuban missile crisis, the Berlin blockade, the Korean war, Vietnam etc.

I'm going to stand my ground from the para thread and say polls mean nothing but I do love the idea and I am sure everyone else does too. Poll or no poll.
I don't want paratroopers much either if I'm honest. I think marines stand a better purpose because it would most likely require one unit over the paras two (Transport and para inf)

Paras are an amazing asset if you knowhow to use them, but let's not discuss this now.
