As most of us know the Soviet union ceased to exist in 1991, fairly peacefully. What if, however the reds felt like invading us capitalist pigs and starting ww3? I wanted to know if anyone would like to see a ww3 version of this game with all the features and cool stuff.

They don't want drugs legalized because they make more money if they are illegal. They have more power than the the government so they can't do that otherwise they will get killed. Geez, read what was already said.

The US would not give help. Either flame tanks and juggernauts or iron forts with napalm launchers.

Yep. The US is meant to be the best army and yet they can get their asses kicked if you camp in a bush and shoot at them from there. Look at 'Nam, then use those tactics against the USA. Especially the booby traps. Closed coffins are worse than a body bag. It will destroy morale.
Yeah, but I don't think the cartels would use guerrilla warfare. I think they would make a quick advance in the beginning, then slow down and it would turn into an attrition war, seeing who resists longest. There would be some sabotage in the cities owned by the government, but not too much. That's my view, anyway.
Look at the Spanish Civil War without foreign aid. That is the way I see it would go.
Guerrilla warfare was an anti-US force tip in general. The troops are better trained nowadays but there is always trouble getting stuff from decent armour to an actual gun from what I have read.

OK, ok.
The US probably wouldn't help Mexico while they're fighting the cartels, but once the Mexican government is overthrown, the US would literally invade Mexico to stop the cartels.

How do you propose to do that? To nuke every single drug we need to decimate the world.
Get all the drugs you can find, burn them with the drug dealers. Do that 2 every year. Lower the amount of drugs being sold in the future by about 15% each year considering you will also burn the plantations.
