The forum is dead, only advertisement remains, it'll never get its old glory back
The Forumpocalypse
This forum is under attack. Dozens of spam ads are made every single day. Nobody has the time to report them. Mods, something needs to change in the forum. We can’t keep going on like this. I’d suggest adding a post limit to one every 4 hours. (A new thread, not a comment)

Agree with you Brutus Trump.
I cant understand this advertisement hike.
Well cos people would prefer discord or CoW global chat since many players are active down there pal.BrutusTrump wrote:

"Being X must not take over Bytro Labs and its gold or we will lose" ~~Tanya Von Degurechaff, Circa 2021

We are working to address this issue as of this post I have been checking all the areas on the forums and getting rid of those accounts I find. We have added another process to hopefully slow them down.
Its been worse. Goes in spurts.
The advertisers make posts 14 times..
Some of them are linked to flesh trade, and women escorts....
seen worse. its all just garbage. im sure it will be dealt with, as it always has been.
They are thinking of adding approved posts to see if that will lessen the amount of spam advertising.
Oh my god just ad to report several ads by the same user all of them just copy pasted.
This may take a lot of time, to approve every post, every thread is fine. So I think it's a good idea to give the approve post right to not only the Bytro Staff and mods, but some users who have stayed here a long time, and have many points ( like 1000+), that way posts can be approved faster.PrinceofHonor wrote:

Fully agreed here. Perhaps adding ReCaptcha as a requirement for joining would help?BrutusTrump wrote:

They ARE humans, plus there's a captcha too as I remember.
This was added and then changed a bit to try to make it more effective, we may have to look at limiting new forum accounts to approval or something like that.
Moderators please do look into this.
Just an update today they are going to work on the forums to try and resolve this issue.
Okay, just an update on what they tried last week working in a small group but when applied didn't work so we are still working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, I and others are trying to get these threads off the site as quickly as possible.
I think the forum would have some life breathed into it. If the global chat was on the main page of the game website or the forum. Not requiring you to be in a game in order to type in the global chat. Something like what supremacy 1914 did at one point. (If they still have it like that)
This is what the beta client does not sure who all has access to it.
The beta should be made default in my opinion as it would allow an easier transition.
