Anyway, as for your specific case in the Middle East, I think that a lot of the instability there is a result of religious disagreements more so than American intervention, and I think that what really set the stage for conflict there was European imperialism. I just don't like the way you refuse to acknowledge the progress made so far to a fair and equal society. The US, through(occasionally) questionable policies, has gone from being the first democratic country(with a constitution) to one of many across the world, most of which have become successful to a similar level, such as the EU. I agree that the US government sucks in many ways, but its not the hellhole that you say it is.

Assumptions, Donk, assumptions! I never said the United States was the worst place or some hellhole, but I’ll be damned to say the US government is an effective institution after all I’ve seen it do! The US is literally now a flawed democracy according to international studies. Corporate lobbying and Gerrymandering a huge chunk of that. America still remains a good country to live in, but endless amount of things that could easily be fixed or improved continue to pile on. As for the rest of the world, America time and time again has stifled democracy and raised dictatorships in the name of combatting communism or strengthening their interests. Even that example of Persia, goes back to the US. The Shah, the hated monarch of Persia was heavily supported by the west, propped by them rather than any attempts to build democracy. Once the people got tired enough they overthrew him for an anti-American government that quickly managed to become even worse. America did not support democracy here. Africa has endless examples, like murdering the leader of the Congo after labeling him a communist and then forcing him to work with the USSR to stabilize his country. They helped overthrow a democratically elected government in China just because it was too left wing and replaced it with a far-right dictatorship. Banana republics in Central America were build by the US too. Back to the Middle East, it’s instability was originally built by Europe, but they helped make it worse after. NATO funding whichever side of the Iran-Iraq war to weaken them both is one thing. The whole war in Iraq which killed 1 million people and disbanded the Iraqi army, leading to manpower being created for terrorist groups is all the U.S. the U.S. did good in Korea, but everyone knows Vietnam along with its neighbors in Laos and Cambodia, who all still have to deal with many people’s deformities from Agent Orange along with the millions dead and bombed. Those countries were bombed into oblivion, though the U.S. ignored the Khmer Rouge of all things. Even today I bet you don’t know much about the civil war in Myanmar, which the US ignored! Hey country is fighting with all it has against a military dictatorship, yet America is completely ignoring that. Of course they’ll fund Saudi bombings in Yemen, though… the list keeps going. The US has not been a force for good on the world stage, and even if Russia or China have done worse to their own people, America has done worse to the rest of the world. Why do you think America is the boogie man of the third worlders? Because it’s been acting like one! I could go on forever, but if there one take away, America should have done a lot better, at the very least with the outside world. This society can be free and equal as it wants, but millions of others have had their lives made directly worse by this country. Obviously Americans aren’t really to blame, but the government? There is a reason 80% of Americans don’t trust the government.

as im reading half way through you say exactly what i was going to say,
they also sprayed Agent Orange on their own soldiers with no regard for future health, killing many many people,
my father was a paratrooper in the Vietnam War at the age of 18, died at the age of 50 due to the stuff.
America would do anything to win, they.ve shown that many times. no matter the cost.

The details only get worse and worse… Donk talks about all those who sacrificed their lives for freedom, but the government sure as hell could have reduced that amount and sure as hell doesn’t seem to care for them…
