Both doses. Side effects are mostly minor, and often observed at the same or lower per capita rate than the general population. COVID-19 is much more prevalent. Can't tell if this is satire. This sounds either misleading or like misinformation. A leak from a lab seems possible, intentionally manufacturing the virus for weaponized purposes is extremely unlikely, considering . This sounds like the usual dangerous misinformation we get here.

I believe AstraZeneca and J&J have pledged not to profit from their vaccines. But overall, I think pharmaceutical companies tend to price gouge whatever vaccines or medications they have instead of making their product less effective. I mean, I wouldn't put it behind them, but I feel like there's a bottom line. That, and I can imagine the scientific outcry if that happened.

The US is just a big medical mess due to rampant lobbying and lack of regulation. Regardless, if your view is negative of Big Pharma (and rightfully so), then you should support removing patent protections on COVID-19 vaccines. It'd help with getting vaccines into the hands of poorer regions.

And regarding potential long term side effects of covid vaccines, Severe side effects from vaccines usually happen within the first two months. Phase III trials concluded in November of the last year.

Open to any and all discussion.

It has been confirmed to be a variant of coronavirus aka SARS family . A lab leak is possible but nothing really can be confirmed as it is he says she says situation (as they have been researching on these things for a while so lab leak possible) but likelyhood is that it originated from bats like all other SARS virus , then what happened next is unsure . Also , The lab was finished building in 1970 , when china was relatively poor so it shouldn’t have a problem maintaining it after the economic boom ( also funding by obama is another he says she says scenario)

China's vaccine diplomacy might be something you want to look into as well. They are using their vaccines to one, turn a profit, and two to get international favours in return for supplying the vaccines. If a nation doesn't do what they want, no vaccines.

Although I do intend on being non-partisan in this debate I would like to point out that the Wuhan Virology institute failed several international safety tests and was marked in several studies as being the most likely site for a lab leak.

It has to be noted that Fauci and Biden suddenly swapped positions on the likelihood of lab leak after an anonymous chinese official with "info on wuhan" defected (Possibly Dong Jinwei, assistant secretary of state). This does show that perhaps the defector brought evidence on a lab leak.

But no matter what it will be years before we find out what happened.There is no way right now to punish China as the world is to dependent on its mass production abilities. The world would have to grow its economic abilities massively before cutting off China.

Yes , a biologist named Richard . H Ebright pointed this out and expressed concern . And said that a lab leak in the future ( this was before covid ) is possible. But nobody could really intervene or stop the lab . They were providing information about bat coronavirus (which had been spreading ) and they were one of the few if not only lab that specialises in it . Either the world risk a potential lab leak in the future or not get any info on coronavirus . WHO said and did nothing .
