I’ve never understood this, but why do people take everything so literally, it’s like “of course I’m not going to put you in a cage, your not a real animal, your a human being” it’s just a thing that I’ve never understood

Like I’m sure the guy is nice, but like you were born as a human, but why do you want to be an animal? You can’t transform into one, but you can buy a 20,000 furry suit and pretend you’re an animal! Biggest scam EVER, that why I don’t like furries, it’s a scam of your money. I’m sure the people are nice yeah, it’s just that it’s a waste of money and a waste of a 3 year “phase”

Some jokes maybe small for us, but for others... it could be something bigger.

For an example, calling someone fatherless, maybe that's funny to us, and it didn't mean to be something serious.

But what if the person we called them fatherless had a very bad experience of their father's death where they are traumatized almost to death by the memory of it? Of course, they can be quite upset.

Not all jokes that are harmless to us are ok for others.

Some has the power to hold their emotion, but others could just burst into wave of emotions when they see some jokes, and hence why people in memes would warn people who are easily offended not to watch offensive memes,

Even sometimes, the non-offensive memes can hurt some people.

Some just enjoy for the sake of art itself, and doesn't mean all furries like to pretend as an animal.

(And for information, not all fursuits costs that expensive. Some wants to show their creativity by making fursuits or costumes)

And since they know what are they're buying, it's not a scam.

Most of fursuits doesn't have super realistic features that resemblance a hyperrealistic features most of the time.

It's like a Halloween, I could never understand why people walking down the street and begging for candies while wearing costumes? But, as long as they don't hurt others, that's fine!

It's their money anyway, they can use their money however they like.

I also don't understand why people would commission an artist for drawing the things they want? But, it's harmless.

So, I think that's fine.

It's like saying, "Why do writers/directors/game makers made a fantasy games? You live in reality, wake up and stop dreaming!".

What would happen if that was a thing many people believe? There would be no fun and everything seems... boring and dull.

Even the greatest invention comes with imagination and creativity.

So, as long as they don't hurt others... that's fine.

It's their own money anyway, unless they stole people money for themselves to buy fursuit which is another story.
