As both a Cow player and WWII buff I'm really happy to play Cow and I am intrigued by it, but from a historical standpoint the absence of carriers takes away a huge element of realism.
-The notion of sending airplanes across oceans to hostile territory is absurd
-D-Day was hugely reliant on effective air support, as were countless other landings in the Pacific Theatre. My point is, given enough In game resources (and adequate naval escort) , you should be able to provide air support to any landing force.
Aircraft carriers are known to be in development at this stage..
Everyone has spoken about this. It's one of the main reasons Aircraft carriers were introduced so early before being removed.
Oh my god.....
They're supposedly in development.
