Well time for a friendly debate on Which is better, US or the UK? This could be in any area of the countries from economics to political to the UK having better tea.
Rules
No ridiculing others for their opinion.
Try to not be offensive or too stereotypical

I'm seeing anecdotes and stereotypes in the military vs conversation here, as opposed to the logic and facts requested.
In call of duty terms the military comparison it's the difference between having all the upgrade slots but only 50 units vs having all upgrades but the commando slot but having 250 units.
I intensely disagree with the premise that a "best" nation can be found. There are too many criteria for there to be any one answer for all people. "Which country would you rather live in" would, IMO, make for a more interesting discussion.

I see that the thread is going slightly off topic, what with the funny videos and lack of factual discussion in some of the later posts.

I can't have, because I honestly don't know what that is.

-You need to see the movie. It more or less sums up the 'world police' mentality of the George W. Bush era.

Lol, dad's a Navy Seal, I've heard him many a time saying, "Guys in the Army are pretty much all f*ing idiots"
"A knight cannot save the world. They call certain methods of fighting good and others evil, acting as if there were some nobility to the battlefield." "Honor? Glory? There's no point in speaking to a killer who indulges in such nonsense." "It's a crime we call victory, paid for by the pain of the defeated"

The United States completely outweigh for the British , as we did in the War of Independence .
"I came, I saw, I conquered" Written in a report to Rome 47 B.C., after conquering Pharnaces at Zela in Asia Minor in just five days; as quoted in Life of Caesar by Plutarch; reported to have been inscribed on one of the decorated wagons in the Pontic triumph, in Lives of the Twelve Caesars, Julius, by Suetonius. "Alea iacta est" Gaius Julius Caesar.

Not really, if the UK sent its full power we would of crushed your little revolution. But we were busy with a war with France and maintaining the rest of the empire.

Ah it feels good to be on a forum where the Americans are out numbered by the rest of us.

lol, American myself, but I know when we're outclassed, Napoleon was a whole lot more of a threat, and we got the rump of the British Army

I remember watching that Mel Gibson film about the war of independence, the line battle at the start filled my British heart with pride.

Lol.
Well, it depends of what we're talking about when we're comparing the two countries. I generally prefer British history because of their empire, because of Churchill and because of Picton and Wellesley.
The past is a foreign country.

Our great revolutionary patriot army defeated the British absolutism.

Rather I see the British withdrew.
