ROFLMAO. Comrade Genz has negative ratios, and he writes guides!?! (!@#$%^&*) That's just messed up. However, @Tgufyru , doing naval invasions on island nations/harbours early in game isn't a bad idea, since most people tend to focus on economy rather than navy at the start. They probably don't have that strong a navy (except for the colonial powers) and you can take a city and start producing on different points, makes the enemy focus on a few fronts at once.
I have deleted most of Comrade Genz so called guides. If there's more questionable content than let me know

The only problem is that people do tend to focus on armies and artillery, your landing units can easily be overwhelmed. There's also the issue of lack of units and rebellions... best do slow progress on neighbors near you while building your actual army at certain bunkered locations, unless you're Australia, the Netherlands, or some sad island loner.
