Ravel - Gaspard de la nuit (all three pieces grouped in this)
Valses Nobles et Sentimentale (all are good, but i love Moins Vif)
Sonatine (all three pieces, i can play the entire set)
La Valse - i prefer the orchestral version of Philharmonique de Radio France, besides that the Piano version by Glenn Gould and channel "Traum Piano" is also noteworthy
Pavane Pour une Infante Defunte - this has an orchestral and piano version, either is good
Jeux D'eau- the version by Martha Argerich Preferred
Tombeau de Couperin - both orchestral and piano version preferred.
There are some other odd pieces by him that strikes a note within me that i have forgotten the name of.
The pianist michelangeli also has good renditions of a multitude of Ravel's work.
Ravel is also considered a sort of genius, i only have heard mostly his piano works, but he also makes good orchestral and chamber music too.
Schubert: Staendchen
Winterreise - mostly Fruhlingstraum
Erlkonig
I actually listen to a lot more of his pieces but forgot their names
Brahms: his hungarian dance 5
Lullaby (yes, little karl using brahms lullaby to be put to sleep)
Variations on a theme by paganini - his goal was to have a better piece in general compared to liszt's etudes, more melodic and virtuosic compared to his, and it works
Intermezzo no. 5
Schumann: Carnaval
Traumerai
(Yes i dont listen to Schumann much)
Tartini - Devil's trill (quite frankly the most beautiful piece on violin i have ever heard, all other piece is just broken compared to this)
Paganini - Caprice no. 24 (yes i dont listen much of Paganini either)
Toby Fox - Megalovania (crammed it here so people get surprised)
Scriabin - Sonata no. 5
Etude In D Minor
Prelude and nocturne in Left Hand
Although i havent listened to his symphonies, i heard they be good, particularly symphony 1 last mvmt
Mussorgsky - Pictures at an exhibitiom, the orchestral and piano versions hit different, Piano is much more raw in feeling
Tchailovsky - Nutcracker Suite
Piano concerto no 1
Sleeping Beauty Waltz
1812 overture
Swan Lake
Prokofiev - Crusaders in Pskov
Battle of the Ice
Lieutenant Kije
I just started listening to him, i will try the more mainstream pieces
Ilja Shotrov - On the Hills of Manchuria
