You mean a war? A cold war is basically an arms race.
Mess with the Bill, you get the scorn!
Good to the community, my name is Jack, today will bring a very interesting theme of the second world war, the theme is simple.
The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ordered by Harry Truman, President of the United States, the 6 and the 9 of August of 1945 put the end point to the second world war. After half a year of intense bombardment of more than 60 cities in the Empire of Japan, strategic attacks were unsuccessful to achieve long-awaited Asian enemy accountability and put closure to the bloody and costly war. The first and only Atomic attacks of history got Japan to capitulate on 15 August, something hitherto considered impossible. Bombs killed 140,000 people in Hiroshima and 80,000 in Nagasaki, the vast majority civilians, and many of them by the devastating effects of radiation. Since then, the attack has been one of the most controversial historical events of the history, being qualified with all sorts of positions, from the "necessary evil" to the "crime against humanity".
What do you think about the two bombs atomic about Japan?
What do you think?

That and that. First there would be a cold war but for the oil when it starts running low which it soon would and then just when Russia wants to get their hands on the oil fields, USA wants it too and BOOM a war.
I would bet heavily on the US winning.
Yeah, dude check out DARPA. Amazing things are made there.
Oh yeah. Was it them that made the lasers and railgun?

You sure about that? The US hasn't fought a world power in a long time.
Have you heard about the T-14 Armata?

It's faster, a lot lighter, and has equal or more firepower to an M1-Abrams, and there's supposed to be several thousand of these things by 2020.
The last war that the powers fought was WW2, there some skirmishes but a modern war will be unprecedented.
So who would win then? Shall we vote?
I agree the U.S. has converted to combating guerrilla warfare and has not fought a conventional war in a while the rule of Air superiority remains the same and the U.S. is pretty good at that.

Peace must be made through assertive action.

Are we going to rule out nukes in the vote? The winner is meaningless if civilization is wiped out and the human race is at the tip of extinction.
If you put MAD in the vote, everybody would vote for it. I'd just do "Russia wins," "US wins," or "I don't know.'
With second strike capabilities no one will be celebrating a victory either way.
Guess it will be based on conventional means than nukes, huh.
This is true. Take Davis Monthan AFB for example. In that one facility there are 4,000 decommissioned aircraft, enough to create the 2nd largest air force in the world. The first largest would be the U.S.kingjoe1077 wrote:

Don't forget all those ships lying in mothball yards. The US have enough ships in just one to potentially beat the entire British navy.
