What that article says is that no one won the Cold War, because the USSR willingly dissolved into Russia. Yes and no. Gorbachev obviously pushed the process through, but it was mainly the fact that the Soviet economy couldn't keep up the its American counterpart.

But now we have Russia, who emerged from the ashes of the USSR, who is as bad as the USSR.

Russia is only bad for the westerners who are zombified by all propganada that is being spoon fed to them/

Georgia in 2008, on the day of the ceremony of the Olympic games in China, which were originally meant to stop wars and promote peace, Georgia fired on Russian peacekeeping post in South Osetia, killing russian soldiers, and invaded South Osetia and Abkhazia. By next day Russian military intervened and pushed Georgian army out of Abkhazia and Osetia. Even pushed into Georgia. They could have taken the Capital and hang Georgian president for war crimes, but they stopped. Remember what was written and said in every news source in the West????? " "Russia attacked Georgia" . " RUssians are coming" " Putin is the new HItler" and etc.... it took months , if not years, for international community to look at all the evidence, after which it was recognized that Georgia was the AGGRESSOR.

Same thing is happening in Ukraine since 2014, when nazi junta took over the legitimately elected gov't and declared war on everything Russian, thus making the mostly Russian populated regions to rise and break away from Ukraine, after which Ukraine sent an Army against their own citizens ( they did not recognize the splitting regions ).

All the news channels are still screaming that Russia is the aggressor !!!

What is really bad is Western imperialism and corporate interests that control the western governments. It is all about profit and power.

I'm pro-Assad as I believe he is superior to the "moderate rebels". If Assad was defeated, Syria would be Libya 2.0. The rebels in reality aren't moderate in anyway, their beliefs are just as radical as ISIS, Syria would go down a bad, bad route.

Dictatorship is a subjective term and it is widely used for "not pro-western". I don't think that life in Libya, Iraq, Egypt or some similar countries is better now compared to how it was during the rule of those "dictators".

2) I read both , Western media and Russian. Both use propaganda, but somethings are quite easy to put together yourself even if one has half of brain, So you should definitely be able to do so. Do you read or watch Russina news media sources? I doubt it...

3) I did not say that all people in the west are saying Putin is new Hitler, I said Western Media is trying very hard to portray him as one. At least you can see through this, it is a good beginning. I am also not saying he is an angel, all politicians are bastards by definition, also whores... as Vast majority of them work for people who invested in them to become a career politician. Being a Ukrainian i completely disagree our country is wanting to be a capatalist nation and at the moment is driven by Nationalism NOT NAZISM!! I am Pro-EU and a Serzhant in the Ukrainia Armed Forces i have seen the front and battled there for over a year and a half... as for sending an army against our own civilians they are TERRORISTS... they want to be Russian? Move to Russia. UKRAINIA IS UKRAINIA!! The Russian army is IN Ukrainia and want the proof? Visit some military cemertrys in Somara... Also come to Ukrainia and visit Mariupol, we have plenty of POWs if you need the proof that Vladimir Putin is a arsehole and needs eradicating before causing more crap towards us. When Russia leaves Ukrainia we will stop calling them aggressors.

Most Eastern Europeans ( at least over the age of 40 who remember it ) only wish to live again in Soviet Union, but it is not what Putin is trying to rebuild, as he said it himself numerous times. What is the point of starting to feed all of the poor East European countries again, when there are so many people in Russia trying to meet ends meet. What he wants is respect and same rights as any other major country. It is not Russia who has been moving its borders westwards for two decades since the fall of USSR, it is NATO that is moving eastwards and threats Russia by trying to undermine its Nuclear defensive and offensive capabilities.

1) it has not been proven that it was Assad that used the gas, there are many facts that point to ISIS and/or rebels have done it, to set up Assad. I really incline to believe that Assad is innocent in this case. Watch his interview online, he is asked on the subject by Western journalist, and he responded in detail how things went down.So , do not believe everything you hear or read from your bought up news sources.
