Pearl Harbor! Its what got the US into the war!
What was the most decisive battle ?
What was the most decisive battle from World War II?
There were many battles , some more important than others ,What do you think was the most important ?

This is tough. I'm not sure what to pick. I'll have to think about this.

It is true , in my opinion the most important battle was the Normandy landings, the Normandy landings caused the fall of Germany, the invasion marked 2 fronts for Germany.Sir McSquiggles wrote:

I vote for pearl harbor. It got the US into the war, and led to the defeat of Japan and Germany. If Normandy didn't happen, the allies would still have troops in Italy, and Germany would be fighting a war on two fronts soon enough. Normandy just sped up the process.

The Battle of Stalingrad was more decisive than Pearl Harbor.GreatbigHippo wrote:

But if it weren't for pearl harbor, the battle of Normandy likely would have never happened, and if it did not in the force in which it did.

In Europe, yes, but not in the pacific. If pearl harbor never happened, Japan would not have been defeated.Felipe V de Borbon. wrote:

True, but still, Normandy operation would have worked.GreatbigHippo wrote:

In summer 1941, the Germans could have made a decisive advance on Moscow. The defenders were so ill-equipped after 3 weeks of war, some of them went into battle with no weapons. Russia already had contigency plans to continue the war from Siberia. If Moscow would have fallen in 1941, Hitler would have had the initiative for a long time. Hitler was hesitant to attack Moscow for reasons not entirely clear to me, but he didn't like Napoleon's capture of that city in 1812.
Perhaps you should have added the Battle of Britain as an option, after all if Britain was conquered Hitler could send all those troops and resources to Russia which, in my mind, would have been enough to crush the Soviet union.

Yeah, the Battle of Britain was by far the most important.
