Good to all, my name is Jack, today I bring an interesting topic .Which was the best army of the Second World war?
In my opinion the best army of the Second World war was the Army of the USA and the British army, the prowesses realized by the American Army I surprise greatly,but what more I value, is the British resistance opposite to the German Army, the great resistance and dedication that the British soldiers did for a free and democratic Europe,it is for this motive, that in my opinion for me, the best army of the Second World war was the British Army.
And for you, which was is he the best army of the Second World war?

Well his name did mean man of steel, so fair play. But... I personally think he done goofed during his purges and have no desire to break into open debate about it, especially seeing as I was warned for swearing yesterday.
British=best. Duh!

Really? Do you prefer a dictatorship rather than a democracy?

Stalin committed terrible atrocities, killed the Ukrainian people from hunger.

I think that was an accident. I blame the kulaks for resisting collectivisation of their farms anyway.

Democracy is the road, not dictatorships.

If the peasants had given their food had died of hunger and the solution would be the diplomacy not murder.

No. They should have given their land to the state, like they were meant to.

Farmers were already paying a tax sufficiently high.

No kiddo it's a man on your case this time. If you guys want to support the Red armee as the best in WW2 that is your opinions and not so historical accurate. 1st the Red armee was not fighting 2 fronts and was not low on men and supplies and was not facing the German elements as was the Wehrmacht whom did not have U.S and British support to buy them time to regroup and mount a come back. And for the records..Stalin was a far greater evil than Hitler. he killed more civilians and starved more Russians than SS Germany could even come close to.

The Red Army made a great effort at Stalingrad and in some battles, while the British Army resisted 6 years.

Listen the Red army was the largest, it used overwhelming numbers to win but it was poorly trained and equipped. But it learnt from hard lessons, from the defeats in the start of the war. From this the red army slowly improved and became a feared army at the end of the war.

Leave you with this fact...had Russians fought the full Wehrmacht ,the panzer divisions in reserves in Normandy and so on ...Russians would be speaking German today....The allies bought Russia the time to modernize it's peasant armee and so did the Russian winter once it set in.

True, the only experience that the Red Army had was the fight against militias in Finland and the Russian civil war.
