Good to all, my name is Jack, today I bring an interesting topic .Which was the best army of the Second World war?
In my opinion the best army of the Second World war was the Army of the USA and the British army, the prowesses realized by the American Army I surprise greatly,but what more I value, is the British resistance opposite to the German Army, the great resistance and dedication that the British soldiers did for a free and democratic Europe,it is for this motive, that in my opinion for me, the best army of the Second World war was the British Army.
And for you, which was is he the best army of the Second World war?
best army during the WW2 is the US, none of the other could win against them not because they had very nice tanks or planes, but it's because they can recover easily

Well...there is the root of all the strife on forum right there...I say the gang elect a new leader that don't stalk forum looking for posts to pounce on attempting to make one's self look wise on WW2 History...I have been studing WW2 History for over 30 years and had family on both sides US und German and have had good friends that spent time in POW camps as well as consintration camps...not to brag but to state the truth...and I can't be re-educated through an online debate but merely ticked off and made to say things I dont really mean...Butter Ball Bill wrote:

I personally think that we need to accept that it is not really important who had the best army, only who survived the war. Really you can have the number 1 military in numbers and tech and still lose to a nation that is far behind you in terms of tech and has a much smaller army. It heavily depends on the commanders, he who has the best commanders has a claim to be the best military. Really until countries fight it out, you cannot be sure, and even then winning does not actually assure that you have a better military as random things, chance, luck, or perhaps fate take place that can turn battles and wars inside out when things happen that should not happen.

Seriously BB....1488....I was merely born in Hessen but lived in the US since 1978 and I love the USA and even raising my son as American....we just going to have to agree that we disagree on the whole matter of who had the best armee of WW2...many nations fought a good fight to preserve their homelands from an evil that was based on racial hate...tho England and the US fought to liberate smaller nations like Holland,Belgium,Denmark,and so on...the Russians did not stand in the gap as did England whom basically stood alone against evil men. Russia went for revenge after being betrayed by Adolf, tho they did liberate some camps on the way but their treatment of civilians was not very humane at all...my friend that passed a few years back was liberated by Russians in Poland she said and they treated her like dirt she said...only difference was she was outside the fence then....but you keep your history and I will keep mine.
