Which was the best army?
Good to all, my name is Jack, today I bring an interesting topic .Which was the best army of the Second World war?
In my opinion the best army of the Second World war was the Army of the USA and the British army, the prowesses realized by the American Army I surprise greatly, but what more I value, is the British resistance opposite to the German Army, the great resistance and dedication that the British soldiers did for a free and democratic Europe,it is for this motive, that in my opinion for me, the best army of the Second World war was the British Army.

And for you, which was is he the best army of the Second World war?

The Gulags were for political prisoners. So it's Stalin fault if they died, for sending them there only for opposing him in the first place.
Spanish person has committed a crime. Spanish person went to jail. Spanish person became ill and died. How many Spanish leader killed Spanish peoples in the past year?
Still unacceptable. We should all know just how much the Brits changed the newspapers in WWII.

Can you cut that down? I do have a life, a couple quotes from each should suffice.

sandevot, look:
- Vladislav (example) opposes Stalin.
- He talks to his friend Vladimir about how bad Stalin is.
- Vladimir actually collaborates with the NKVD.
- Vladimir reports to the NKVD about his friend Vladislav.
- NKVD tells Stalin, who orders the NKVD to put Vladislav on a truck and send him to Siberia.
- Vladislav gets sent to a Gulag.
- Valdislav dies in the freezing cold, being worked to death.

How about this, so someone who lived in the soviet union believes that only 750,000 ish died due to stalin. Well that guy was affected by massive propaganda, Stalin killed secretly, I mean if you knew your glorious leader had killed millions you wouldn't be happy would you. Stalin was very paranoid that he would get 'removed' from power, due to the very violent way he got into power, and so killed anyone who did not sing his tune if you get what i mean. Also he killed many millions in ww2 by sending waves of troops to death and killing Pows. He killed more than Hitler, FACT.

Ever heard about the Communist Revolution, how Lenin took the country by force, and how Stalin became his successor?Butter Ball Bill wrote:

Damn, you guys are silly.
This is the timeline of Russia(without dates, I can't remember dates).
Tsarist regime falls, temp gov put in place. Tsarist fell due to WWI going badly, temps continue war.
War gets worse, more people are drawn to communism.
Communist revolt for "Bread, Land and Peace". Temps fall, Romanovs executed and Lenin leads country.
Lenin pulls Russia out of famine thanks to workers bonuses.
Lenin dies.
Stalin voted into power on "recommendation" of Lenin in Lenin's political will.

No, by the people. Do you not know what democracy is? It is "Of the people, by the people, for the people" even in a one party state. Trotsky was running as well but people voted for Stalin.

By the people, but completely manipulated. In Lenin's 12th Testament, he wanted Trotsky to succeed him. With his allies, Stalin stopped the Testament from being revealed. And later, he murdered Trotsky. Not democracy, if you ask me.
No one did. It still remains a fact that Stalin was voted in, Trotsky lost, started complaining about Stalin and then was exiled. He continued to question Stalin until he was assassinated by a Spanish agent using an ice pick in Mexico City.Pablo22510 wrote:

This was actually changed by Stalin, not kept secret.Pablo22510 wrote:

Still changed. And Stalin completely sabotaged Trotsky.
He really didn't. Russians loved Lenin so if he said Stalin was a good choice, they thought he must've been. Ever heard of the Order of Lenin medal?Pablo22510 wrote:
