Who do you think is going to win the USA's elections?

SO I just wanted to see the different opinion of other people. Please also state why you think this person is going to win the elections. Remember this is not about who you would like to win the election, but who do you think is going to win the elections. You have to vote to see the results, no cheating :) .

So what were they doing, peacekeeping? When you have anti-war protests in Washington, you know it is war!

Military engagements don't last years. By the by, you said the US was only in a state of war 5 times which were 1812, WWII and WWI and two other conflicts (what were those ones, by the by)?

There is a difference between war and military engagement

the American President does not have the power to go to war.. a declaration of war must be voted through Congress

however the President has the power to deploy her armed forces...

1812

mexican-American war

American-Spanish war

WWI

WWII

So are you saying those dead and injured men from the Gulf Wars didn't really fight a war? Bit harsh, considering they got screwed pretty bad and face horrible veteran stereotyping that harms everything, even job applications.

Yes.. their nation was never in a state of war... what part of that can you not understand.. like are you ill?

seriously.. I dont care anymore..

American congress never passed a war bill HENCE THEY WERE NOT IN WAR..

they died for their country.... doesnt matter if it was a war, intervention, or Military engagements authorized by Congress

like its a simple fact, that the Americans were not in a state of war.. Im not saying it

THE FLIPIN WORLD IS SAYING IT

Dude, I agree with oceanhawk. Of course they were at war, but not officially. Therefore, officially they weren't in a 'state of war'.

No, you mustn't. However, and I'm not sure, it's still in an official state of war. So it's officially at war, but isn't irl.

"I came, I saw, I conquered" Written in a report to Rome 47 B.C., after conquering Pharnaces at Zela in Asia Minor in just five days; as quoted in Life of Caesar by Plutarch; reported to have been inscribed on one of the decorated wagons in the Pontic triumph, in Lives of the Twelve Caesars, Julius, by Suetonius.

So according to what you said, USA constitution(not America because that's not a country at all) says that they can "kill people with love" in another country without getting involved in a war.

Taking this example, imagine Russia send tanks and army to US cities and the US Army fights against them, if your congress does not sign anything, you won't be in war, just playing a bit, is that correct?
