Copying Butter Ball Bill's idea of the prettiest plane of all times, I bring up the topic of your favourite military commander. No time limits. Only requirement is that he/she actually existes/exists. Having said all of that, I would go for Patton.

BTW fellas, sorry for bringing up old topics, but I was reading the Duke of Wellington's biography, by Richard Holmes (great book, btw), and this one general that fought alongisde Wellington, from the Peninsula to Waterloo, really shocked me positively. He's the Napoleonic version of Patton. Please be sure to read about how he died. Epic. What a hero.

Well, Bradley was a retard too.

But, to be honest, no one got along with Montgomery. Even Churchill disliked him. A British captain in the XXX Corps said that the figure of Monty had been created because the British didn't have any great war icons like Patton or MacArthur. He is partially right.
