Your Favourite Movie

I am kind of running out of movies to see (I just watched Terminator Genesys, bull****, I have to say). I thought that if by starting a thread and people posting their three favourite movies, I would find some I would like to watch. Two rules:

Movies AND mini-series count.
Normal series (like True Detective, Homeland...) do not count. If you don't know the difference between a mini-series and a normal series, look it up.

Mine, which is a mini-series, is called Band of Brothers. Another one I love is Terminator 2. Finally, in third position is Black Hawk Down.

Lighting Mcqueen is my favourite I also like Starship troopers, which is much manlier

I don't have my favourite movie but "Saving private Ryan" and "We were soldiers" are one of the best war movies I know.

Watch Band Of Brothers. There isn't anything remotely as good that is about war.

Yes, I do read books (more than you probably). Spielberg could pay me, but I just talk about it so much because it's the best thing I've seen on TV/cinema ever.

Yeah, right. I probably read more books than you too! Though you have a point, I don't really go to bookstores. I have TONNES of books in my house, and I only buy books if I'm very interested, and then I tend to buy them via Amazon.

Forrest Gump is a really good movie too. One of my all time favorite books is Animal Farm .

not that I disagree or anything. they were pretty crap

I thought the music from the prequel star wars films were incredibly good, especially the adapted imperial match that is played during the attack on the Jedi temple.

I agree. inception was really good, and the matrix was definitely a 'Must watch' Terminator 2 tho, meh it was ok

Dude! Terminator 2 was awesome!!!!!! Matrix is a must watch, and is a great movie. Never watched inception.
