100 Player World Map Discussion

Try and start with a three food country. I am running two three food countries (South India and Tanganyika) and I had a lot of room to focus on military without feeling pain producing infantry.

I bought 40,000 food on my one province country (Volga Perm) and I have switched to low maintenance units such as rockets and commandos. I am still going to feel the pinch in food if I ever become a strong power.

Do you worry about oil shortages or do you not focus on navy and airforce?

Your food needs will easily double your oil needs.

That said, yes, oil is the second most limiting resource. South India in particular has none of it. (I do have a lot of subs and bombers)

Libya has tons of oil, with 2 standard and one double, and in the late game this is always really helpful.
