Achievement rewards

The Carpet bombing achievement says to "Defeat enemy units with tac. bombers" I've now defeated 3 different enemy units and my total hasn't changed. Do I have to defeat particular types of enemy units to meet the totals required?

The achievement awards require kills against a human opponent, not an AI country. Combat statistics are supposed to update now in real time, but I don't know if that applies to the achievement awards, too, or if they update every 24 hours.

Kills made vs. human players should be reflected after 5-10min in your statistics, including achievements.
