It seems some of the achievements are not updating/increasing my total when I have a new victory and or accomplishment. I.E. I defeated / destroyed a rail road gun and my total for enemy railroad guns stayed the same for the Saboteur achievement. Is this a bug, or are achievements only awarded in battle against an active player (The railroad gun I destroyed was against an inactive player)?
Possibly.
I practically never use railroad guns. Simply because they do not damage anything and you need to stack 3 at least, before you get anywhere with it. But they anyway have uses:
1) Enemy rail guns;
2) A coastline defense;
3) Crossfire, etc.
