Is this because Axis and Allies doctrines have later availability of 1 to 2 days for LT, whereas panasian has LT research available 1 to 2 days faster? This leads to a maximum difference of 4 days.

Ahead of the calendar
When one join a game are we all on the same calendar? And are all the doctrines harmonised so that the same level of upgrade is available on the same day?
The reason I ask is I am game day 3 and the max level light tank is level 1. Yet an opponent has just appeared with level 3 LT not available until day 8.
Maybe I am playing against Dr Who.

Actually we are the same doctrine in this one. That's what I find odd.

If you are same doctrine then this is very suspicious, you should contact support.

Yeah I have put a ticket in. Just wanted to check I hadn't misread something.
The only time this is acceptable is when you capture a province and production of something is stalled and that something is a higher grade than you are at in the unit category. But not seen this before.
