AI attacking me?

I'm Germany in a blitzkrieg map, and Romania Attacked me. I don't have elite AI on and Romania is an AI. I wasn't aware AI attacked on their own and the newspaper article said they started the war. Is this a bug, or does it only happen on Blitzkrieg maps?

Are you on elite IA? If you usually invade IA without declaring war first in normal games from what I understood when playing elite you are gonna be in war and embargo from it

You merely adopted the shitposting. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see a proper post until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!

Did the war start around day change? I have seen rebellions spark a war. Not usually though.

Changing control of a province because of a rebellion can accidentally start a war. I have witnessed this happen where units are either moving or already too close to a province center to stop when the rebellion and flip occur and those units find themselves either in accidental combat or accidentally capturing the province center.
