AI ... how much 'Gold' the devs grant to the AI?

I give you an example. if you destroy a AI-country except 1 last province ... and there even is no intact building left, how comes that within 20mins 5 tank and airforce divisions appear? How comes? AI-magic, isnt it?

I think the AI is basicly just on a script where they build and produce random stuff.

I've noticed sometimes they will build a lot of militia and perhaps a lot of AA, then other times they will build tanks and infantry. Other times they will build ships and planes.. It seems very random and often very illogical.

For instance, sometimes the AI will research something to the highest level, but never build any of that units but instead spam other units that it only researched to lvl 1. So it's very "unstable" - but at least it responds to attacks and builds stuff, and is active on the market.. so not all bad.

'randomly and illogical' ... thats why we human beings call it "artificial intelligence".
