inactive countries will remain in a coalition until/unless kicked by the coalition leader.
there are now many maps where the ENTIRE coalition is inactive.

AI in coalition
Germany and Communist Russia are in a coalition together. The Russian player has not been online for a few days .His country is expected to go AI soon.
The question is:
Can the AI Russia leave the coalition...and can it then declare war on Germany.

Probably. I think AI and active players are counted the same in terms of ranking. So if an AI coalition came in first and active coalition came in second, the active coalition would get rewards for second place, not first.Vlanchavic wrote:

AI dont retire, as those AI are no longer players capable of doing so, the game carries on as if people were doing it

Can you win with AI in a coalition? if the AI is small it will be tough because you will need the gather the extra points, and thus you will face morale issues and also the (resource) input for conquest. AI is worthless in coalition safe for the point that they will absolutely not attack you.
