Air battle mechanics changed?

Hello all,

It seems to me that aerial dogfights have been changed. In the past, if you patrolled in the circle of another air unit, you would do damage every 15 minutes (and recieve none), and when his 'tick' is up, he does damage to you, but recieves none.

I experienced in a few battles recently, that you recieve damage nowadays on your own combat tick.

Can anyone confirm/deny? Im looking for answers from the SGOs and/or other experienced top players.

If its a bug, ok, reporting it right now. If it isnt, I am curious why this was not announced - its pretty important I'd wager.

I just asked an enemy if they would be willing to do a test.

when i monitor it it seems that attack and defense damage is done on both stacks' ticks.

I just tested one tic on the new Dominion map with 1 vs 1 lvl 1 interceptors. The attacking patrol lost 1 HP and I lost 0, but my lack of loss is likely chance. So at least on this map the attacking patrol does take damage vs other patrolling air.
