I'm having trouble understanding how they work. I just sent 17 level 2 interceptors against 3 level 1 interceptors. when I attacked I lost 2 interceptors and he only lost 1. Something just doesn't seem right here.

The interceptors are units designed for the recognition.

general tip: never ever use the attack button with interceptors - it causes massive losses against all other aircraft. Dunno if its a feature or a bug. So, patrolling is your only option. With tacs you can use attack though, trading more damage done vs more damage recieved.

I see, that would make since considering the interceptors I attacked were patrolling, Thanks for the tip.
