If I put some interceptors into a boomer stack to protect my boomers, and this stack is attacked by enemy airplanes while patrolling, how will the damage calcululated? Will the enemy airplanes receive attacking damage or defending damage? The defending damage of most interceptors is just half of the attacking damage, so this makes a big difference.
And what is the best way to use interceptors to protect my patrolling boomers from enemy interceptors?

The attacking planes will receive defensive damage from your interceptors. The attack damage from the enemy planes will be distributed over your entire stack of interceptors and bombers.

Even so, when airplanes attack directly, they suffer the most. Patrols are more efficient in their damage. That is, it may happen that the attacker suffers more damage than the defender (I am saying the amount of damage applied)

there Is a trick using planes, when you can deal full damage AND recibe just 0.1 damage from interceptors.
