Airstrip build to 50%

I feel like I read somewhere (cant find it currently) that you can stop an airstrip at 50% of its build and it will still serve as a refueling stop, can someone confirm this?

You use to be able to do that when the build time was longer. Since update you can't use at half complete but the build time is now shorter.

Futz is correct here. The airstrip at lvl 1 now has less hitpoints and is easier to destroy when taking provinces.

Are you talking about Airbase or Airship Carrier I am confused what an Airstrip is in this game I have never stumbled upon it

Definitely referring to air bases since he was talking about stopping the build.

Yes my apologies, AirBASE because that was hard to figure out and surely caused a lot of confusion. And since we are on confusing terminology I have never stumbled across an airship carrier
