Maybe the challenger changed their mind and that is why the revoke option is all that is left to you?

So A challenge game has appeared on our alliance page that has and option to "Revoke", but no option to join. Anybody know what will happen if I push the "revoke" button? Its the only option there.

Don't poke any buttons without knowing what they do... I got slapped for that once.
Contact the other alliance leader and ask him what he wants.

This means they haven't accepted that challenge yet, when they do you will get the join option.
