Alliance member joining?

Hello, I have a member wishing to join my alliance but he cannot find it to join it. We have tried everything that we know to get him in but sadly nothing has worked. Any help? Thanks in advance!

Apparently some web browsers do not work well with the alliance section.

Perhaps he can go through the Ranking tab:
