Does your alliance have a minimum rank or something? He might be below that rank.

Alliance Question
Hi guys, I am running an alliance and I have invited a new friend. He was already in an alliance and quit his old one to join mine, but now it won't let him join. Is there a waiting period, like when you leave a coalition in the game?

As far as I am aware, and from my experience running an alliance, there is no minimum waiting period after leaving an alliance before you can join a new one. It may be a bug.

That's only for coalitions; OP is referring to alliances as in clans.gusv wrote:
