Alpha servers?

Alpha Servers are the people who make the updates. these updates are made and then are sent to Beta Servers/Frontline Pioneers to be tested. here the ideas are perfected and cleaned of bugs. after this, they are sent to be live.

so the order goes:

Alpha Server -> Beta Servers Frontline Pioneers -> Live

i know the difference between in-dev, alpha, beta stages, but I have never seen it in CoW

I'm confused on what you are asking, only certain people have access to Alpha Servers, just like how only certain people have access to Beta Servers.

when you are an FP, you only can get on FP servers but that only means you are an FP, not an Alpha player, so you can't assess Alpha games.

so to some it all up when you are a FP, you can only play Beta games, not Alpha games so nothing happens when you click on the alpha tab.

So you're saying they introduced a new stage, ok, but it's empty, like, it doesn't have any info or redirect anywhere. Was it already announced? Maybe I missed the announcement. How does one become a "Alpha tester"?

I never see any announcement either, or why the "Alpha Servers" button even appear if we don't have access to it, my guess is they're just lazy to announce and/or fix the button appearing for all FP members.

it is a bug that you can see it at all.

The alpha servers are used by the Hamburg staff and developers to test things before being released to the beta servers. Frontline pioneers have access to the beta servers and games running on them to be able to do beta testing on new code.

I believe it is on the list to be fixed already, although I am unsure if there is any priority for doing so as it is simply a visual glitch for frontline members.
