It is possible. What the anonymous hooligan could have done was put espionage spies on some of your provinces. Its possible they saw the messages because of that or, they could have used gold to reveal your economy detail. That would also have the same effect.
Anonymous Messages
I recently recieved an Anonymous message to my country that went into great detail on my plans and even had messages i had sent to another country in my Alliance. They claimed that the country i had sent these messages to was actively sending the messages and map information to them. The country has denied doing this. Can anyone shed light on what is going on here as this is my first encounter with an Anonymous message sender that seems to know all the plans of the alliance and most of the messages i sent to one country. No other countries were listed with messages i had sent them. Is it possible for a spy to do this and then try to sow discord in our alliance by claiming one of the members had shared this confidential Alliance information with them?

that would be a lot of spies though. at most, i only ever get one revealed message per day. so i guess you got a traitor or a gold user. how long has it been happening?
If I put 4 or so spies in different provinces, I tend to get two info(either relations, messages, spies, buildings, economy etc)
With more spies, the better the chance. The more the merrier I say!
Well. I usually do this even if I am not in an alliance at all in the match: I will use all the information I have to send anonymous messages or articles that sow discord in other alliances or anyone that would fall for it. I recently tricked everyone in my World Map match that I lost 41 aircraft, 11 tanks, and 8 naval ships and made everyone think that my offence was completely annihilated and my defence is soon to be destroyed and is in very poor shape.Reichtoffen Patton wrote:

Deceptive diplomacy can win wars, without firing a single shot.
Im surprised they didnt check the newspaper, they could have easily seen through that lie.
Oh, but could they?Sir McSquiggles wrote:

I wrote an article that looked like I lost a ton of troops and put the (/&LinkNigeria) in there to make it look like the links were broken again.
Jus plenty of intelligence spies like Mcquiggels suggested. they can also tell you who sents the anonymous message.
How do i find out who the Anonymous sender of the mssg was? I have since been defeated on this map and now have it archived. Can i still find out who Anonymous was?
No, I'm afraid you can't.Reichtoffen Patton wrote:

I wish you could reply to anonymous messages
Agreed, but, if you could, it would defy all logic. In real life, how the hell could you message an anonymous person?
True.Pablo22510 wrote:

mental telapathy. or something.
You can reply via the World Herald, but really only questions you only want everyone to know you're asking
I think you can also find copies of anonymous messages in other peoples inboxes via the spy tools, not sure about that though.
