Antarctica Win Condition?

If I capture 4 Points of Interest (henceforth called PoIs) in the Antarctica map, I get a countdown timer telling me how long I have to hold those provinces until I win. That’s fine. My question is, does that timer reset if one of my PoIs is captured?

The starting timer is 72 hours. So, for example, let’s say I hold 4 PoIs for 24 hours. My timer now says 48 hours, naturally. Then, one of my PoIs is captured. Of course, the timer disappears, because I no longer hold 4 PoIs.

If I then recapture that one, or another one, will the timer reset back to 72 hours? Or will it ‘remember’ I was at 48 hours, and continue from there accordingly?

I would appreciate any feedback

nice i am also deep into an Antarctica round,

and time will restart once you dont have all 4 under your control, even if you lose only one,

so setup heavy on the capture points and dont worry about protecting anything else

iv won twice but never lost a base befor so im not really 100% sure

thats just how i see it happing though

im trying to get that Dominator achievement with three wins, i got my first two no problem then this is my third time trying for the third win

Zhukov, one of your alliance members is in it and i told em to say whatup but they went inactive right away,

thought he was going to battle guess he wasnt up to the task

I'm still in the discord, but when I took my break I decided to leave the alliance. I'll stay in the discord as I still know some people there, but probably won't join the ingame alliance again.
