That’s the problem with these people. Not just the actual terrible people who forever stained their nation to be seen like this, or the people who fall for the lies and believe that people from a certain group are like this, but also the trolls who make another or even their country look insane, for a dumb joke. It builds a two way lane of hatred that just helps the people we all hate. As a Muslim I can say that the Islamophobia that some people in the west have doesn’t only cause issues because it’s wrong, but because the people they claim us to be can use it to say the west is out to get us, gain more support, and do damage.
In cases like these we have to remain cool headed and look at the facts. Some people are quite ignorant but their views can be changed. In the end this is not really up yo you though and the best thing to do on the internet is simply report them and move on. But just like those people shouldn’t be demonizing your nation, we can’t go and say the world is falling apart into insanity. There are still plenty of good people, some of them ignorant. Don’t let your view of humanity be tainted by these people just like you wouldn’t want the world to to have your nation’s tainted by the ones they mention. The only ones who gain from this are the ones who make it worse.
