I thought that the timer reset according to how much damage you do total, or potential damage according to the unit details, including splash damage. So say your arty does 100 damage, if stack X is worth 50 health, and stack Y worth 200 health, then your arty will do 50 damage to (and kill) stack X, and do 50 further damage to stack Y, before the timer resets to 30mins.
however, I must stress Iām unsure on this, if anyone knows better than me please let me know.
