I'm in a game where I am sorrounded by AI and they are all attacking me, what can I do to mantain peace?

give them peace and wait a while. I think the reason you”re being attacked by so many AI is because you don’t declare war and just always surprise attack. Next time declare war first, or if possible, give them trade embargo for 24 hours and then declare war. If you don’t surprise attack, AI don’t usually declare war.

go on diplomacy, search the name of the country attacking you, and put your relation as peace

i did but they continue the war, and it passes a couple of minutes and it resets to war

Yeah, they attacked you again. Point being, you have to 'make them think' you are no longer aggressive. This won't take a short amount of time. Hold your forces, defend effectively, and try to hold peace as long as you can. Eventually, they'll make the turn to trade embargo.

In one of my games this was like a week.
If you are very unpopular, it will take almost forver. It's hardly ever worth the wait. Any attack is an opportunity to conquer. So don't worry - be happy!

Apparently you have low popularity because you have attacked without provocation a few AI managed countries ...
This happened to me about three games ago, where I had Turkey in the 39 map and was playing rather aggressively ... At one point I was at war with 8 countries- 6 of them AI managed and they all declared war on me! ... I had 2 nights of nearly sleepless nights defending myself, but I managed to win that game with the help of my coalition partners ...

You can also just push back and try to beat them all back or bait them into going to war with teachother

Thanks everyone, i tried pulling up troops back, I asked for help from my allies, and besides he being my friend irl and not being at war with anyone, he didn't help me, and also, he betrayed me and conquered-me in my most debile time. I should've have been more active on this forum, so I could see this earlyear.

since new AI behavior based on popularity it is almoast impossible make peace with AI without doing heavy losses to those AI.
You must force them to handle firestop first, after it, open youer maps and let your borders almoast undefended. Make embargo to every enemy of those AI. And just hope encrease pf popularity would be quicklier than next war declaration.
If you follow old advises, als just retreat and defending, new AI will never accept peace. They cry for firestop only if risk of their homeland too high, not if they are victorious.
Also defend vs all minus one AI, while full attack this loast one. This attacked AI can ask for firebreak. Accept it and see above.
