Barracks help everything
Well here's something interesting I just discovered. It turns out that, although you only need barracks to build units in the infantry tech, if you turn your barracks on in a province where you are building armour or planes, their build time is considerably shortened.

Actually, having taken a closer look, it's documented in-game, it says "+25% production" for a barracks - I guess I missed that before. But the barracks has to be turned on, which means it costs you some grain to get the faster production.

the barracks decrease the build time of infantry units from the infantry tech line, not sure if it affect armor,ships,and planes, but i dout it, better check it later,

Thank you for sharing!
It's worth the grain if you need to quickly reinforce your troops. (at least in my opinion.)
