lol,
Carriers are worth it in panasian
I find subs useful 10x more often than I find a legitimate use for carrieers.
This is very true. Sometimes I get subs, sometimes I don’t. But I basically NEVERRRRR ever get carriers.z00mz00m wrote:

Island bases are better tbh…
Unless you're playing an isolated naval country (like New Zealand or Madagascar) there's no need for carriers.Carking the 6th wrote:

And even with those, if you can establish a presence on mainland Africa/Oceania, it becomes a non-issue.Brando Dilla wrote:

Yes. Since you'll only need them in the early game (until you get a high level airbase on the mainland), you only need to research Level 1.Carking the 6th wrote:

Sometimes it’s good to put them in a stationary place in the ocean so they can act like an airstrip and allow planes to pass, for example from West Africa to Brazil in South America.Brando Dilla wrote:

Yes, guarded by Destroyers and Subs of course.Carking the 6th wrote:

That’s a foolish idea, instead I have a horde of nukes around. 40-50 bombers will do.Brando Dilla wrote:

Of course not, your lordship. The power of a swarm of nuclear bombers is simply unmatchable. Assured destruction, but not mutual.
Let's get real.
Let me pose a question. Who would win? The Royal navy of 1939, all gathered near Malta, or a 25 kiloton nuclear bomb? What do you mean whoever has air support? You dare not mention interceptors and anti air! Foool! The bombs will fall!
