I would say Finland. You are axis and you have an easy day one commie neighbor. Just do this:
Build up 12 hours, destroy someone the rest. After the first few days this will become harder to do because of bigger neighbors. Now build for 1 day. Oh yeah and you build moto infantry, med tanks and a lot of planes and airstrips. Be sure to get latest research and better factories. Also don't research infantry or rockets or militia they are useless.

I like Egypt because it has the most provinces which means it gets extra money and manpower, and also its location allows it to expand in multiple ways, for example into Africa, or Europe, or the Middle East.

I have played Saskatchewan before, quite nice as you only have 2 players next to your core. Expand in North America and try to find a coalition later on in the game. Unless you have some way to win a world map solo lol.

I have played 10 or more so of WaW games and never see anyone won a solo victory.

I’ve done it once. Dragged a useless coalition around, then realized I could win if I just left.
