depends on doctrine

As a relatively new player, I need some tips on the best land units to use in game
depends on doctrine
however armored cars are for all doctrines
Alrighty, my old friend Mr. Ding Gaster the 3rdddd!
it’s dependent on many factors. But as said above A/C’s are good on all doctrines. If allied, pan Asian, or axis mot infantry are excellent. Militia are good but mostly for defense.infantry are decent but best on pan Asian or commie doctrine, also allied since the recent buff combined with cheaper upgrades (and starting with a lot of infantry to upgrade) makes them quite cost effective. You won’t need Paratroopers or commandos most of the time. Moving on to tanks. Light tanks are usually only really good with Pan-Asian, but some strategies make them alright with allied. Medium tanks are best with Commie or Axis, but I do like to use them with allies even if I shouldn’t. They are not good with PA though. Don’t get heavy tanks. Tank destroyers are best used in allied doctrine, but I usually don’t use them. Anti tank is not needed; artillery does their job better. You can get anti air, but I usually find myself using interceptors to protect them and having enough AA from infantry and A/C’s. Artillery is pretty good. Regular artillery, rocket artillery, or SO variations are all excellent. I recommend to make sure to get Rocket arty if Commie doctrine. I personally don’t like RRG’s but I know that most pro players seem to use them. There are plenty of threads that explain how to make Railroad gun stacks better than me out there though. Remember to have good air cover. You should have interceptors no matter the doctrine, and I recommend getting tacs and attacks too, though it takes time to get planes to high enough levels to be useful. Either way planes are really good, and should be thought about when making your land army.
Now combinations depend on Doctrine. I’m gonna give a basic idea for the land units I’d have with each doctrine, but remember that there are other possibly better ones out there that you should strategize and find yourself.
Allied: Militia/Infantry, Motorized/Mechanized/Armored car, Medium tank/Tank destroyer (probably TD), Artillery, SP and Rocket Arty if you wish.
Commie: Militia/Infantry, Armored car, Medium Tanks, Normal and Rocket Artillery, SP if you wish.
Axis: Militia/Infantry (preferably militia in this case, I’d say) Medium tanks, Normal and Rocket Artillery, SP if you wish.
Pan-Asian: Militia/Infantry, Armored car/Motorized, Light tanks, Artillery, SP and Rocket Arty if you wish.
Lol there is no best layout; it's like trying to argue which unit is the best. Sure, there are good units, but literally everything depends on three things:
1. Fighting a human or AI
2. The layout of the opponent's armies
3. The terrain
1 is because AI tend to crank out unarmoured ordnance and infantry, you can just used mot inf there (again depends how big AI is)
2 is since you can't just spam a certain unit, since it's counter could be in use by the opponent, essentially handing them the win (MT or HT --> AT, any unarmoured ordnance --> mot inf, etc.)
3 is hopefully obvious

what is three?
How could terrain possibly affect anything? It’s not like there is a difference if I’m fighting in the Congo jungle or Berlin streets!Yes
