Best units for taking out infantry?

What units are best at taking out infantry and also other units from the infantry branch?

Depending on terrain (as long as your not in city) Armor for sure. Tanks take almost no damage and to big damage to infantry.Planes, artillery, and naval are generally good too

<3 me some Mechanized

I also use commando units! They generally go a lot of damage to infantry. (10 hit points)

Armored cars are good early game

AI auto go towards your arty so you still. needs units in front. But I always have ground units attack at the same time to speed things up.

Well, they are not always online. BTW, are you the person that has been in Training Alliance 2?

My first choice to soften up lonely infantry units at a distance would be tac bombers, artillery, and capital ships (e.g. battleships and cruisers). For close hand to hand combat armor and commandoes ... 8)

Arty all the way, and I focus primarily on SPA, getting as many of them as possible into a few groups of at least +30 each, with some AA and AT on top of that. This group can single shot take out small groups of enemies and kill enemies before they reach the group. It's a slow tactic but works, especially well against AI.
