Depends on what units he is using I guess?
Best way to counter Axis as Pan-Asian
I'm currently playing a Dawn of Patriot as Pan-Asian nation and its at day 5. No Allies team were left so it's now a clash between Axis and Pan-asian team is inevitable. So i'm asking if you guys has any suggestion about the best way to counter Axis as Pan-Asian?

This!
You could assume that "Axis players always build medium tanks" and build a ton of artillery to counter them, but what if your opponent spams tactical bombers instead? In that case, an investment in interceptors and armored cars could have worked better.
Knowledge is power.
Well the Axis are using Rocket Arty in my case here, some are using a MT spams as predicted.
I'd suggest a combination of AC's and MT's too, as you can most likely outproduce them in both and render their RA useless.Pazerkampfwagen wrote:

Out-producing your opponent and winning by pure attrition may work against unskilled opponents.
It will not take you very far against players who know what they're doing.
If we assume that both players are on the same skill level it will. By sheer numbers, one can break through an opponents line in weakly defended places and encircle his units. Pan-asian is very good for this sort of tactic due to it's speed buff.z00mz00m wrote:

LOL encircle?
There are no breakthrough or encirclement benefits in CoW. It's not how the game works.
Actually my team did the opposite of this. Instead of doing a breaktrough, we let the Axis team to push inside our territory (but not to the core). And then we start to encircle it and destroy it with our Arty when they're Asleep. We also destroyed every reinforcement and any attempt to break the encirclement. Luckily my teammate is active enough to do a shoot and scoot. We only loose a few unit compared to the Axis (~10 unit vs 60+ unit). And idk why they are using SB instead of TB or AB.Cecil Rhodes. wrote:

A lot of players think bigger is better. Strat bombers, heavy tanks, battleships, carriers, commandos. But yeah, regular arty/rrarty plus shoot and scoot FTW.
Wouldnt a better option still be Artillery and AC? Japanese MTs take up spots for ACs, aren't as powerful nor as competitive.Cecil Rhodes. wrote:
