Night King made a hole in the wall.
Now on a serious note, there are 2 different provinces both with their own core, my guess is that a visual glitch from the colors .

I've noticed this phenomenon, mostly in the USA/Canada border on maps.
Maybe I should order some ray guns

Yeah, happens a lot. Mostly harmless, sometimes a bit annoying, sometimes funny.
