Buildings in defending provinces

Scenario:

I am at war with neighboring country. Neighboring province (held by defender) has buildings (tank plant, factory, etc.) and is undefended by anything (ie no infantry, guns, etc.). I send in infantry using the "move" command, not "attack" command as I would like to keep the buildings intact for my future use. No artillery, no bombing raids.

Questions:

How can I move into an undefended province without firing a shot and keep the enemy's buildings for my use? I remember I used to be able to do that. Or has that scenario been changed?

You can't. The act of capturing does damage to buildings. I think it might be 30, which would be enough to wipe out 1.5 level one buildings, but I can't remember. I think it's been posted about before so you may find an answer from freezy
