I mean, there isn't any problem with having a lisp, but I didn't expect your voice to sound like that.Sir McSquiggles wrote:

I don't think I have one.You are the only one who says that.Pablo22510 wrote:

I have a very unique accent, you may not be used to it perhaps.

Thank you, these videos has helped me quite a bit ![]()
You're welcome! Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Nice vids. I probably should have watched them a few days ago. Less mistakes that way.
As for voice, American English with regional dialect. Hard to place dialect though. I am leaning toward a mix of Boston and Seattle but there maybe some Minneapolis in there.
At least you didn't slip into some Irish vernacular about getting the messages and putting them in the press.
minneapolis accent! thats nuts we dont have one its the rest of you
Well, Squiggles speaks American accent. I think you really have a unique accent, Squiggles
. To be honest, I try to speak British English, as for me I think it sounds better than American one
Very interesting. So basically you said, "You have a nice accent Squiggles...buuuuutttttt I like the british accent better"SirAmerican wrote:

This is a very old thread. But let's face it. We've lost Sir McSquiggles and his video tutorials are no longer being produced.
And he shall go forth unto legend, remembered in the annals of history as one who was noble of heart and clad with the rubbery and impenetrable Tentacles of Valor, and fiercely tattooed with vicious, yet valiant, visages of playful kittens frolicking on the kitchen floor.
Yeah, though we miss our dear departed leader and friend, we must look onward to the future. We must find someone worthy to take on the mantle of the alchemist. We need someone -- or even a cadre of individuals -- that would become the next to create visuals of instructions....these so-called "video tutorials" where the sorcery of a displayed warfare is repeatedly shown for all to see.
We need a new champion -- a sage-like guru and warrior -- to be the new hero of the darkest of magical arts from the Spellbook of YouTube. Where will we find such a dynamic presence? With whom shall we cast our lot?
Only time will tell, but I've made relevant the search for such an auspicious individual by writing this plea.
We need a new Squiggly Hero! And we mustn't drive him from our midst in fear of his dark magic but instead decorate this next Squiggles not only dubbed as a Knight to be called Sir, but to be anointed as the Duke McSquiggles of the Noble House of Kittenia.
Now, let us go. Let us seek out this new and mysterious person that can fill such a need as ours. Let this new Squiggly Duke rise and be counted among the ranks of the legendary heroes of the Call of War.
It seemed like such a waste to destroy an entire battle station just to eliminate one man. But Charlie knew that it was the only way to ensure the absolute and total destruction of Quasi-duck, once and for all.@WarCityDriver Already has made videos like this:

Thank you for that link. The top video was well-presented and I saw that there was at least another one by him (maybe more?).
Perhaps they could be re-posted in this thread since this one is pinned? That would be great.
Better yet, maybe a special section of the forum could be put together that just has tutorial videos (with a separate area for comments). And of course, only videos vetted by staff could be linked there.
Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe there could be a second video section where anyone can link videos of their games (fun and popular match files, etc.) just to show off interesting situations. It's all YouTube, so server space wouldn't be affected.
And, if those two parts are done (tutorials and show-off video sections) then a third part could be made where a person could UPLOAD short videos displaying how they come across a bug (to make it easier for the GO's and Bytro's testers to repeat the error by having a visual to easily duplicate). This last part would be special and just for bugs and then the uploaded video content could be deleted by the devs themselves once they are satisfied that they've figured out how to replicate a bug for fixing.
That's my 2 bits and a half.
