Can't move large amount of planes

Are your planes currently in a location with an airfield? They can only fly from strip to strip, not field to strip.

Are the bombers in a mixed stack with planes whose range is less? This sometimes(all times?) seems to prevent the planes from moving since they are limited to the smallest range of the stack.

It threw for for a moment or three the first time I was using large groups of planes and mixing them together....figured it was a bytro bug but as soon as I split the tact bombs from the fighters(inteceptors but I like 'fighter' due to Axis and Allies and D&D...;P ) I could of course move the tact bombs..... but for those few moments I was wondering why bytro likes bugs so much....!haha

Yes they are on an airfield and want to fly to another airfield.. It is really weird!

Hmm, are other planes with smaller ranges with them?

I had a bug once that planes wouldn't fly, even though the airfield was well in range. Fixed after a few days. Patience.

I just wrecked the Russians with nukes. So far they have 70000 casualties with none for me yet.

And I guess you're right, but as my general strategy isn't heavily dependent on my air force, it doesn't affect me as much as you.

A good airforce is as important as a good army. So many times I have seen people neglect their airforce.

A good navy is much better than an air force. I often skip out on planes but I always have the toughest navy that repels any invasion.

I think it differs depending on the country you choose. If you are Canada/South USA/North USA then yes it is very important. If you were Germany vs Russia, airforce id say would be a bit more important.

Well, yeah. Whenever I was Russia I would have a massive air force until I needed to attack Turkey, Spain, UK etc.

Exactly. Theres this one game where im Canada(which has all of north America) versus a four player alliance. Its like day 45 and they are looking to destroy me lol. I think maybe, just maybe my navy will stall them for some time.

Why were you defending planes and then make a point how navies are better?

I didn't? I was saying that depending on the country you choose, a navy and airforce is important. Canada of course needs a good navy. But for countries like Poland, airforce takes priority. Im not saying to not have a navy at all. And I never said navies are better.
