I agree, but how on Earth did you manage to do that of all things?
Mess with the Bill, you get the scorn!
It happened to me. I mistakenly clicked on the X next to a research (the interceptor, i.e. the fighter) which takes 1 day + 4 hours to complete. There was about 3-4 hours to go and I was checking what I would research after. And suddenly it just disappeared. A mouse slip when the cursor was above that X, I think. No undo button, but worse: no confirmation requested! I thought If I would launch it again, all the progress would still be there and we would still have 3-4 hours vto go, or maybe there would be a small penalty, like the addition of 1-2 hours to the time the remaining time?
Nope. You have to start from scratch, like if you never researched that technology, pay all the ressources and cash again in full. Like all the scientists and engineers burned all their papers and drawings and the backups as well.
IT WOULD BE NICE IF THERE WAS A CONFIRMATION ASKED! Something like "Are you sure you want to cancel this research? All the progress made will be lost! And then "ARE YOU REALLY SURE? LAST WARNING!"
I agree, but how on Earth did you manage to do that of all things?
I guess I was moving the mouse cursor somewhere and mistakenly hit the button when it happened the cursor was going over that X...
Are you really, really sure?
How many confirmations do you really need? A huge red box with an X is fairly self-explanatory........oops, sorry Russia, I accidentally hit the big red "launch" button and it didn't ask me to confirm
But we shall see, I'll pass it to the devs.
